Tourism Business Success Programme a first for New Zealand

The Tourism Business Success Programme developed by SMARTrainingTM, a leading tourism marketing training provider, has just been launched.

It has taken over a year to develop this exciting new programme for new and existing tourism and hospitality businesses that will give operators the tools, skills, and inspiration to set and achieve their business goals. “It’s the first of its kind in New Zealand and we are planning to take it overseas in the future”, says Marijke Dunselman, the Programme Director.

It covers all aspects of running and growing a successful tourism business with a focus on the latest trends of the ever-changing marketing landscape. “We have worked with, trained and coached hundreds of tourism businesses over the years, but what this programme is different. It meets the needs of tourism businesses who want to grow, but who don’t have a huge amount of time to spare. It’s personalised to their needs.

“We start with a one-day small group Strategic Planning Bootcamp in seven locations around New Zealand. Businesses will come away with a clear plan of what you want to achieve and how you're going to get there. We’ve developed a revolutionary planning system that will help businesses easily track their goals.”

There are also individual coaching sessions, online tools and resources, fortnightly webinars, including the "Speaker Series" with inspirational high-profile people that will keep you motivated. They include: Stephen England-Hall, CEO of Tourism New Zealand, Jim Boult, Mayor of Queenstown and a wide background in tourism, Martin Hawes, well-known financial best-selling author, Trey Ratcliff, Photographer, artist, writer and adventurer with over 16 million online followers, Anna Black, Chairperson Tourism Export Council and several other interesting speakers.
