Weiti, Auckland’s largest sustainable residential conservation project – just 25 minutes from Auckland’s CBD – has reached a new pinnacle with the release of the final oceanfront lifestyle lots for sale.
Weiti is a very large property just over 860ha in area right on the eastern coastline north of Auckland between Okura and Stillwater. After two years of construction, titles for 93 of the 150 lots at WeitiBay have been issued and settled over the last 8 weeks, with the highest price achieved over $2 million for a waterfront section.
Prices for the newly released lots will start from $1.3million, with titles due in May 2018.
Weiti is unique for both its size and its sustainable approach to development with a mix of native forests, farmland, DOC reserves, protected wildlife and wetlands. Its size is comparable to Devonport and Bayswater put together.
Once completed, separate from WeitiBay, Weiti will include also include two further higher density but very high quality development areas with a mix of residential property, commercial offices, retail, restaurants and cafes, equestrian facilities, golf, walking and mountain biking tracks.
The recently completed access road to WeitiBay stretches 5 kilometres from the entrance on East Coast Road to a beautiful beach and includes driving on the first stage of the road that will eventually become Penlink, linking Whangaparoa to the North Shore.

According to Michael Guy from Bayleys, purchasers of the Weiti Bay lifestyle lots saw buying at Weiti an opportunity to be close to the oceanfront, at the same time being surrounded by Mother Nature due to Weiti’s ecological approach to development.
