Toowoomba looks at Dunedin’s achievements
Dunedin is furthering business opportunities with Toowoomba, Australia at a conference in Auckland today.
Enterprise Dunedin’s Economic Development Manager Fraser Liggett spoke about Dunedin’s economic achievements at the Access NZ Tour conference.
“We offered advice on innovative practices that the Toowoomba delegation could take back to benefit the Darling Downs and Surat Basin region,” Mr Liggett said.
He said it was also a chance to learn about Toowoomba’s export achievements from some of the region’s agricultural, energy and tourism leaders.
“There are some good opportunities for trans-Tasman collaboration with this region.”
The Access NZ conference is being organised by Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise.
