More4Apps takes Best Medium Business Services Exporter at Air New Zealand Cargo Awards

More4Apps has taken out the BDO Best Medium Business (services exporter) award at the Air New Zealand Cargo Export NZ Awards held in Auckland Thursday (28 June).

“More4Apps exports 99% of its products and services to more than 25,000 people in 45 countries. Working with Oracle E-Business Suite means that you’re working with multinational companies, a lot of Fortune 500 companies and we’re doing it from Hamilton, New Zealand” says O’Keeffe. These awards come as a “mighty achievement when you look at last year’s winner and this year’s runners-up; Wherescape (2017 winner), Company X, Mindful and Valocity” says O’Keeffe.

The same day, More4Apps were also announced as a finalist for the UKOUG Partner of the Year Awards in the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) category. More4Apps was awarded bronze in this category for 2017. Among the finalists are Excel4apps, Q Software Global, Rookery Software and Hubble by insightsoftware.com. “Being named a finalist once again indicates that UKOUG can see the value that our products provide to our customers” says (Client Relationship Manager) Maria Messiter. O’Keeffe says that “meeting customers is enjoyable because we’re solving problems for them on a daily basis. Our global team works very hard to exceed our customers’ expectations, so this comes as a welcome acknowledgement of that”.

By winning the Best Medium (Services Exporter) Award More4Apps have been nominated for the NZTE International Business Awards in held in Auckland November 8, 2018. UK Partner of the Years Awards will be held in London, October 4, 2018.

“More4Apps started out as a group of Oracle consultants implementing Oracle E-Business Suite for several large companies in New Zealand” says CEO, John O’Keeffe. The consultants found that many of the tasks they were doing were repetitive and identified the possibility of making applications to support customers.

The steady progress of the business over the past 18 years saw the company moving forward cautiously with a definite strategic purpose, a strong product and a sound business model and was more than enough to impress the judges; allowing More4Apps to take the win for Best Medium Business (services exporter).
