Last chance to apply for Canon’s Oceania Grants

Applications for Canon’s Oceania Grants program are about to close for 2018, offering schools, not-for-profit and community groups the chance to further their causes with a $5,000 grant.

Canon encourages those who are passionate about making a difference in their communities to apply before applications close on 20th July 2018.

Over the past 12 years, Canon has supported over 70 schools, not-for-profit and community groups with more than $360,000 (NZD) to further their causes.

This year, Canon is offering three grants each worth $5,000 of both Canon product and cash in-kind. For the first time, all New Zealanders are able to vote for their top finalists before the winners are announced by 15th September 2018.

Winners will be selected based on the positive impact their project has on their environment or community, as well as the importance of Canon technology for their project’s success.

The 2018 Canon Oceania Grants will be awarded under the following categories:

• 1 x Environmental Grant - NZ$5,000 ($4,000 Canon product and $1,000 cash)

• 1 x Education/School Grant - NZ$5,000 ($4,000 Canon product and $1,000 cash)

• 1 x Community/Social Grant - NZ$5,000 ($4,000 Canon product and $1,000 cash)
