House of Travel Awards Celebrate True Stories And Smashing All Expectations with New Brand Campaign

House of Travel has seen an incredible spike of 70% increase in enquiries since launching the new ‘Better Together’ brand campaign based on true stories in February and also celebrating a record year with a turnover in excess of a billion dollars.

Mark O’Donnell, House of Travel CEO says, “We knew that by telling true stories we had created a strong and compelling campaign which would bring new customers through the door - but a 70% increase in less than two months is far more than we anticipated.

“The comments from customers have been revealing, making it clear that a lot of potential customers believed the myth that using a travel consultant cost you money and online is more economic – we have set out to dispel that and we are well on our way to succeeding.”

Areas of travel that increased for the business includes; Cruise (up 30%), Queensland (up 20%) and Fiji (up 30%).

In 2018 sales were up double digits and the results from the beginning of 2019 are indicating another record year in all areas including air, land and cruise making House of Travel the number one travel group in New Zealand.

NATIONAL AWARDS

On Saturday 23 March nearly 800 members of the House of Travel Group attended the company’s annual awards conference at the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane, Auckland, representing 75 House of Travel stores and eight Orbit World Travel locations nationwide.
