Orchard Business and Event Hub to relocate with relaunch BAS

Northland Inc’s Orchard Business and Event Hub in Whangarei is hosting a BA5 event on Wednesday, May 8 at 5.30pm to celebrate its relaunch, as it relocates back to its original home at old George Courts Corner.

After ten months of renovations and seismic strengthening, the community of co-workers, as well as the members of Northland Inc and Chamber of Commerce Northland, will depart their temporary office next door and return to their original location at Level 1 on the corner of Walton and Cameron Streets.

Northland Inc has extended the BA5 invite to Northland businesses and staff, as well as those hoping to learn more about the co-working space.

Orchard relocation project lead, Kayla Tattley, said the networking event would be one of the biggest of the year.
“Both of our previous Chamber of Commerce BA5 events have each rallied over 100 attendees, providing a great opportunity for people to network, as well as discover the amazing facilities at The Orchard that your business to tap into.

“The Orchard has proven to be a great space for local business owners to use, and network in and many have said that having their local economic development agency (EDA) and Chamber close at hand has benefited them greatly,” she said.

Acting CEO of Northland Inc Vaughan Cooper said The Orchard initiative has brought together the region's business support services under one roof, whilst the event space has delivered a heartbeat and a pulse for innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.
“Northland Inc has created an effective business hub which is delivering real value to Northland's business community.
"The businesses who work out of the Orchard are a big part its success and deserve recognition and thanks for accommodating the disruptions caused by the relocation,” he said.
