Shell And The Millennium

It will be "business as usual" for Shell New Zealand during the Christmas and Millennium change-over.

Shell spokesperson, Aimee Driscoll, says customers can rely on the Shell team to provide them with excellent service and products during Millennium celebrations.

Shell subsidiary, Shell Services International (SSI), has experienced IT providers, delivering infrastructure, application support and development to their customers who have been working with Shell New Zealand (SNZ) to test and up-date all our systems - Shell New Zealand is Y2K ready.

"SSI and SNZ will have a team of people working together during the Millennium change over monitoring all our internal and external systems. We have done everything possible to minimise the risk of anything going wrong. Certainly we do not expect our customers to be inconvenienced by any bug."

For any urgent customer inquiries during the holiday season you can contact Shell's customer help-line on: 0800-4-Shell (0800- 474355).
