NEWCALL Extend Option Period To Purchase IproLink

Fast Growing Telco Set To Become ISP

AUCKLAND, 22 December 1999 – NEWCALL Group Ltd has announced an extension to its option to purchase IproLink NZ Ltd (IproLink), the Auckland based Internet Service Provider (ISP). Due to the delay in the option period becoming unconditional, the vendors of IproLink have granted an extension from 20 December 1999 to Monday 17 January 2000 in order to complete due diligence. The purchase would be settled by a combination of cash and shares in the publicly listed NEWCALL Group Ltd, in consideration for all of the shares in IproLink, a privately owned company.

“By acquiring IproLink directly, NEWCALL would become a complete Web-enabled telco, one of the few in New Zealand to offer the complete range of telecommunications solutions, including Internet, mobile, tolls, calling cards and e-Commerce,” explains NEWCALL’s Managing Director, Norman Nicholls.
