CLOUD 9 LAUNCHES NEW COMPANY

Wellington based film production company CLOUD 9 LIMITED, is one of this country’s largest and most prolific production houses.

Raymond Thompson, a highly successful writer and former Head of Development for BBC Drama, founded the Cloud 9 Screen Entertainment Group of companies in late 1994. Since that time, the company has completed eight large-scale television productions and invested 85 million dollars into the local economy.

The company has established an excellent international reputation for producing family oriented film and television dramas, including projects purchased by Disney’s distribution arm Buena Vista and Channel 5 in England.
