Sky Showcases City Of Sails To The World

Sky Showcases New Zealand's City Of Sails To The World

Millions of people across the globe will experience the excitement and party atmosphere of the Louis Vuitton Cup following a visit by a film crew from SKY TV’s E! Entertainment (Digital Channel 7) to Auckland this weekend.

Baywatch babe, Nicole Eggert is part of the E! crew that will be in the city of sails this weekend. She will host two E! Entertainment programmes, E! News Live and F.Y.E, focused on the Louis Vuitton Cup Gala Evening on the Saturday night and also the multitude of sights and sounds Auckland has on offer.

At the Louis Vuitton Gala, Nicole will interview members of Team New Zealand, other America’s Cup challenger team members and skippers and notable Kiwi celebrity attendees.

E! News Live is a news show that was this year nominated for an Emmy Award for its highly energised coverage of gossip, happenings and events occurring throughout the world.

Dedicated to taking viewers behind the scenes of the biggest and most outrageous parties on the planet, F.Y.E - For Your Entertainment – is a weekly show that has already been filmed on our shores earlier this year with a special on Kiwi actor Cliff Curtis’s adventures in Auckland.

Additionally, the E! crew will capture stock footage for the Wild On travel series, hosted by the sultry duo Cindy Taylor and Brooke Burke, to be used at a later date.

Based in Los Angeles the E! International Network is currently the world’s largest producer and distributor of entertainment news and lifestyle programming available throughout Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East, with programming viewed by more than 400 million people around the world.

New Zealand stands to gain a tremendous amount of exposure as an unique and exhilarating travel destination through E!’s footage of Auckland for all three programmes.

Nicole Eggert and the E! Entertainment crew touchdown in Auckland for a weekend of Louis Vuitton action on Friday, December 6.
