Nova Echo nationwide tour!

16 June 2005

Nova Echo nationwide tour!

Classy post-punk act Nova Echo touring New Zealand in support of their new single Cvision (which reached #2 on the 95bFM top ten just last week).

Nova Echo have been plying their brand of energetic post-punk all over the upper North Island since December 2004, playing with like-minded bands like the manic die!die!die! and artcore kings This Night Creeps.

The eleven date tour will include the band's first ever visits to Wellington (two shows), Christchurch, Palmerston North and Nelson. They'll also be returning for shows in Hamilton (two shows), Napier and Mount Maunganui.

Taking rich influence from Talking Heads and the Cure but mixing that with the odd aesthetic of Dischord bands like Fugazi and Q and Not U - they've been catching the attention of various audiences around New Zealand.

Joined by the visceral Malenky Robot for half the time, this is a tour that no fan of independent music should miss.
