The Dub Conspiracy Launch Tour

Salmonella Dub Present

The Dub Conspiracy Launch Tour

Salmonella Dub announce their October/November Dub Conspiracy compilation launch tour, the band’s first extensive New Zealand tour in almost five years.

Dub Conspiracy, just released by the label of the same name, boasts a line-up of new tracks, versions and remixes from Aotearoa, Australian and UK artists including Salmonella Dub, Kora, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Concord Dawn ft.

Scribe, Shapeshifter, Cornerstone Roots, Budspells, DJ Digital and more. The Dub Conspiracy label was also responsible for the release of the Kaikoura Roots Festival 05 compilation earlier this year, and the Dub Conspiracy ANZAC Weekend tour of Australia, which included many of the acts, affiliated with the label.

The 13-date Dub Conspiracy tour, headlined by Salmonella Dub, will also have Kora, Cornerstone Roots, Sunshine Soundsystem and Australia’s Budspells sharing support duties. The tour will stretch from smaller communities such as Kaikoura, to the other end of the scale, which sees them playing two nights each at Auckland’s St James Theatre and Christchurch’s Civic.

In recent years Salmonella Dub’s local tours have been limited in size due to their busy international schedule. The band are currently playing sold-out shows in Australia and the UK before returning home for the NZ tour throughout October and November.

Two years on from the release of their Number 1, double-platinum album One Drop East, Salmonella Dub are busy writing new material between touring commitments. Following the Dub Conspiracy tour they will play summer festivals such as Rhythm & Vines and Kaikoura Roots before heading into the studio to record their next album early in the New Year.

Dub Conspiracy is in stores now and tickets to all shows are on sale.
