Daredevil Unsuccessful in White Island Balloon Bid

Daredevil unsuccessful in White Island balloon Bid

Daredevil balloonist Rick Walczak has been unsuccessful in cracking the treacherous White Island early this morning. Weather conditions had appeared perfect but once the 'Egg A Day OK' balloon equipment and crew were lowered into the island, dangerous winds circulating around the crater prevented the balloon from being inflated.

Says Rick, "Unfortunately the attempt was just too dangerous today. We were all geared to have a crack at the volcano but the safety of the crew must always come first."

Rick and the 'Egg A Day OK' crew hope to do battle against White Island in the near future but for now, the volcano remains unconquered.
