Spring Wedding Show to Raise Funds for Charities

Spring Wedding Show to Raise Funds for Charities

Your Day Trust is to present another Spring Wedding Show at Rydges Hotel Christchurch on Sunday 17 September 2006.

Whilst helping the couples plan their 'big day', the Trust also helps two charitable organisations -
the Royal Foundation of the Blind and Child Helpline.
All aspects of the wedding for the bride and groom- including top reception and venues, health, hair & beauty specialists, florists, jewellery & wedding accessories suppliers, photographers, marriage celebrants and wedding transport experts will help
you plan your entire day under one roof.

There is no need to phone around for brochures, make appointments for visits or go online - there is time to relax - leave the planning in the hands of the professionals and have fun, be pampered!

The couples also have a fantastic opportunity to win"The Spring Wedding 2006 Wedding Package ". Age is not a barrier as an 18 year old would have the same excitement as an 80 year old to plan their special day! It is great to see couples attend our shows from out of town as well from overseas.

For the convenience of the couples attending the show, there will be bridal fashion shows held at 11.30am and 2.30pm-hosted by CTV Good Living presenter, Kate Kouloubrakis. Award winning bridal houses showcasing this season's latest styles include Robyn Cliffe Couturier, Brides of Merivale,Louise Anderson Bridal Gowns, Avon Bridal and Deans Suit Hire.

Kennett's Jewelers Julian Harding Lifestyle Jewelers and Clara Jeweler will be there to help couple decide on their wedding rings and jewllery.

Your Day Trust's Spring Wedding Show is renowned for its uniqueness for the past seven years. Spring Wedding Show 2006 is no exception as it has been branded the "Designer Wedding Show" by some.

A lot of planning goes into presentation of a well balanced show. Your Day Trust's board members carefully appointed Canterbury's finest wedding professionals to offer their expertise to those contemplating getting married.

Enjoy the glamour of Canterbury's award winning bridal fashion houses featuring the latest designs for the bride, groom, mother of the bride and the rest of the wedding entourage.

It is the team effort of Your Day Trust, Canterbury wedding specialists and the community that makes each year's show more successful.

"Your Day Trust is also very appreciative of the ongoing support of Radio Network (Newstalk ZB, Classic Hits & ZM) and Rydges Hotel", says Sharon Lingham, one of the sponsors and publicist for Your Day Trust.

Lingham has recently launched New Zealand's first Global Wedding Extravaganza, attracting over 7,000 people to Victoria Square,Christchurch to celebrate the diversity of cultures in Canterbury and to promote the region as 'the wedding destination'! She is also CEO of Crown Limousines and through her award winning website, supports many charities.

Besides testing, tasting, try-ons, make-overs and catwalk, indulge in some spot-prizes, complementary wine and wedding cake! The show starts at 10am and finishes at 4.30pm. Entry fee is only $10 each with ample car parking at Rydges car park. For more information, visit www.sharonlingham.com or phone (03) 3790099.
