CoCA Guthrey Travel Award 2006


Application deadline: Thursday 23 November 2006, 5pm

Recipient announced: Tuesday 28 November 2006, 6pm


The CoCA Guthrey Travel Award is jointly sponsored by the Centre of Contemporary Art and Guthrey Travel to give a promising established Canterbury artist the opportunity to travel to Australia. The award will take the form of an economy class return air passage from Christchurch to Australia, travel within Australia, and accommodation in Australia to the value of $2000. To be eligible, applicants must be a resident of Canterbury and a member of the Centre of Contemporary Art.

An entry form can be collected from the gallery (66 Gloucester Street, Christchurch), or downloaded from www.coca.org.nz.

Applications from eligible persons must be received by the Director of the Centre of Contemporary art no later than 5pm, Thursday 23 November 2006. Applications can be sent by post to PO Box 772, Christchurch, or emailed to director[at]coca.org.nz.

The recipient will be announced at the opening on Tuesday 28 November 2006, 6pm.

Any inquires should be addressed to the Director of the Centre of Contemporary Art before the closing date for applications.
