Big Wednesday Jackpots $250,000 Added Next Week

Big Wednesday Jackpots – First Class Travel to The Value of $250,000 Added Next Week

Big Wednesday has jackpotted tonight, with First Class travel to the value of $250,000 added to the prizes on offer next week, NZ Lotteries Chief Executive, Todd McLeay said.

"Big Wednesday's exciting new prizes, including an Aston Martin V8 Vantage and an Audi Q7 and a Platinum AMEX card with $250,000 loaded, were launched three weeks ago," said Mr McLeay.

"As the top prize was not won this week, we have added the $250,000 First Class travel to the prize pool, giving players the chance to win more luxury prizes next week.

At the next draw, on 3 January 2006, Big Wednesday players will be in to win: - $2 million; - Aston Martin V8 Vantage; - Audi Q7; - $250,000 American Express Platinum card; and - $250,000 in First Class Travel

"Big Wednesday players will be able to travel anywhere in the world in luxurious comfort and can start living the ultimate lifestyle," says Mr McLeay.

While the top prize was not struck in tonight's draw, a lucky player who purchased their ticket at Whitcoulls, The Base in Te Rapa, Hamilton won $25,000 in Big Wednesday's second chance draw.

The winning serial number is 485-04492553-13XX.

Every ticket bought for tonight's draw was entered in the second chance draw. The prize won was determined by the H or T selection on the first line of the ticket. As the ticket selection did not match the coin toss of Heads in the draw, they won $25,000.

"Anyone who bought their Big Wednesday ticket from Whitcoulls, The Base in Te Rapa, Hamilton should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately," Mr McLeay says.

There were a total of 61,271 winners from tonight's draw.
