28 Lucky Players Win Top Prizes in Lotto's Biggest

28 Lucky Players Win Top Prizes in Lotto's Biggest Ever Christmas Holiday Promotion

Champagne corks will be popping across the country as 28 Lotto players celebrate more than just the New Year after scooping the top prizes in Lotto's biggest ever Christmas holiday promotion, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive Todd McLeay.

"Over $4 million in prizes have been won in this promotion, with the 28 top prize winners joined in their celebrations by 1,000 players who have already won $1,001 instant prizes over the past three weeks," said Mr McLeay.

"We have winners from Dargaville in the north to Balclutha in the south, it is fantastic to see that such a broad cross-section of Kiwis have been winners.

"The top prize – a $1 million house - has been won by a Triple Dip voucher bought at K N J's Superette in Levin.

"The Kiwi dream of a holiday home has come true for two players who bought their Triple Dip vouchers at Pio Pio Superette in Te Kuiti and Te Puna Four Square in Tauranga, with each winner scoring a $500,000 bach," said Mr McLeay.

Three lucky winners with Triple Dip vouchers from Inner City Post & Lotto in Palmerston North, R-Jay's Superette in Hamilton and New Brighton Lotto in Christchurch will each be driving away in a Holden Captiva towing a Buccaneer 530 Excess boat; and four more lucky Triple Dip voucher holders with tickets bought at Mags N More in Dargaville, Manukau Pak 'N Save in Auckland, Woody's Winners in Wellsford and Onehunga Mall Suprette in Auckland have all won VW Cabriolets.

Woody's Winners in Wellsford was doubly lucky in the promotion, with a second top prize also won at the store, a $20,000 shopping Spree.

The prizes were won on vouchers which were produced when customers purchased a Triple Dip during the promotion period between 10 and 30 December. Vouchers can be checked for prizes through the terminal at any Lotto outlet just like normal Lotto tickets.

"We encourage our top prize winners to write their names on the back of their vouchers and get them checked as soon as possible so we can confirm their prize," said Mr McLeay.
