For the first time you will be able to bring your bike, board, or blades and bust out your own moves on the purpose built street course and mini ramp. The Fruju Interactive Zone will be set up on Taranaki Warf alongside the Hurricane and Explorer amusement rides.

At the Lagoon, The Edge radio DJs will be looking for competitors to enter the Fruju challenge and other competitions. These include the Belly Flop and Bombing comp from the 4 metre high Bomb Tower, a Fruju Iceblock Eating Race, Jetski Endurance, Splash for Cash and the Blow Up Doll Rescue.

There will be $14,000 in giveaways including a stash of cash and a pile of Samsung MP3 players and Mobile phones. The best seat in the house will be the Jim Beam Bourban Garden with premium viewing of the Samsung Big Screen and the giant Samsung Launch Ramp. Maniacs on bikes, skates, motorbikes and the odd roller couch will go flying off the 15 metre high structure into the water in pursuit of the $1,000 first prize.

There will also be a couple of one off demos you won’t want to miss. Wellington local BMX legend Dwayne McLeod is keen to be the first person to flip his bike off the City to Sea Bridge on the Friday night.

And on the Saturday a couple of other nutters, the infamous Marsh Brothers from Hamilton, will try to outdo McLeod with their motorcycle hyjinks off the same bridge. Jim Beam are also bringing back one of the more popular events of 2006 the Jim Beam Bikini Contest.
