Not only did his horse, Miami Rocket, win race six at the Springfresh Destination Summer Holiday Racing (DSHR) meeting at Marlborough’s Waterlea Racecourse, he also successfully selected the five other finishers in the correct order.

”It’s been an amazing summer of racing, with many on-course records being broken around the country,” says New Zealand Racing Board spokesman Matt Eastwood. “Today’s punting has been up both on course and off course. People obviously enjoy the challenge of the six pack but it’s also clear people enjoy the fun of a family day out at the races.”
