Charismatic actor Paul Ellis (Shortland Street, Celebrity Treasure Island) teams up with his sidekick Waleed for some crazy South African shenanigans to promote the launch of OETV, the online destination for independent travellers.
His whirlwind tour of South Africa, including riding an ostrich and shark diving, is among a series of 5 minute videos presented by famous faces including Adam Sinclair (Mile High), Sarah Manners (Casualty, Mile High), Jessie Gurunathan (Miss Popularity), Georgia Zaris (Dream Team, The Bill, Mile High) and Katrina Hobbs (Shortland Street, Home and Away.) Filmed all over the world, the fun and quirky episodes aim to encourage internet users to become part of a huge, global online travel community at www.oe.tv.
OETV is a specialist broadband television channel targeted at the booming independent travel market, completely interactive and totally shaped by its users. It aims to combine different cultures from across the globe, bringing unification online through a passion for travel.
