Helen Clark joins the great debate; NZ’s Favourite Movie Ever.
www.flicks.co.nz has launched an exhaustive, two month survey to find NZ’s Favourite (and most hated) Movie Ever.
Who better to get the ball rolling, than mother of the nation, Prime Minister Helen Clark who picks the bio of young South American revolutionary Che Guevara – The Motorcycle Diaries starring Gael Garcia Bernal.
And John Key? The leader of the opposition likes a movie to tickle the ol’ funny bone and is a sucker for Rowan Atkinson’s Johnny English. We all like movies for different reasons, but as a nation of movie lovers, are there a handful of titles that strike a collective nerve? From our country’s leaders to Joe Public – Flicks is asking New Zealanders for their votes.
The polls are open until May 31. After which, Flicks will release the results in a list similar to that of the American Film Institute & British Film Institute Top 100.
See the votes for favourite & most despised movies from notable NZ’s - including the Naked Samoans, John Campbell, our nation’s critics (NZ Herald, TV3, Sunday Star-Times, The Press, The Listener), filmmakers (like Rob Sarkies, Costa Botes) & others at www.flicks.co.nz.
We urge all the people of New Zealand to CAST YOUR VOTE! About Flicks.co.nz Flicks.co.nz is NZ’s only online, in depth film guide. About NZ’s Favourite Movie Survey For two months, starting April and Ending May 31, Flicks.co.nz is running an online survey to find NZ’s Favourite & Most Despised Movie Ever (out of all films, not just NZ ones). Voters cast their votes and go in the draw to win grand prizes & weekly prizes from Flicks.co.nz, Fishpond.co.nz & Video Ezy.
