Australian Rock Company Ltd (ARC) 'Live At Lunch', is an opportunity to perform in high schools (Oz) to promote new product &/or scheduled 'general access ' shows. ARC is pleased to utilise its database of high schools, nationally, for any touring artists who would like to perform lunch hour shows. The idea is that schools will provide amplifiers and vocal mic.s. Artists will perform, a 40-50min acoustic set for a gold coin donation and cd and merch. sales. Andy Maufua Guitar Clinic (Wgtn) 2 May 2007 @ 6pm MusicWorks Wellington with local guitar guru Andy Maufua. He will be covering topics relating to rhythm playing, accompaniment, lead playing and soloing. There will be handout materials relating to everything covered on the night. Andy has worked with some of New Zealand's most established recording artists such as Aaradhna, Brooke Fraser, Ardijah, Deva Mahal, Lisa Tomlins, Jon Stevens, and American singer-songwriter, Ginger Leigh. In 2005 Andy was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston where he studied guitar performance. While there, Andy auditioned for and won a guitar scholarship. He was one of only 108 people from all around the world who were awarded Berklee's World Scholarship to return for full-time study.
