Sukinature - Dance Choreography by Juliet Shelley

Sukinature

Dance Choreography by Juliet Shelley & Sound by Olivia Bryant

Sukinature is a world where each performance is created anew within a framework of what is previously known. We see pure dance and physicality alongside intimacy and relationship; we hear a poignant, evocative sound score; and we see a woman inhabiting a world that is both known and unknown, making choices in real time, from memory and presence, revealing her own nature within the world of form.

Juliet Shelley (UK/NZ) is the founder and director of MMMDance and Pineapple Productions. Juliet moved from the UK to NZ in 1994 and has worked freelance since that time and has taught and performed in the Holland, USA and Australia.

Sound composition for Sukinature is by Olivia Bryant and includes Nigel Collins on cello, Rosie Herdman on piano and Jonny Brugh on guitar.
