From Rags to Rave
Reviews - Cinderella is a Sellout
Success

The Royal New Zealand Ballet's new production of Cinderella has opened to rave reviews and full houses.
After a sellout season in Wellington, the production opened to another full house in Invercargill last night.

"This production really is something special," Artistic Director Gary Harris says. "While it's a story that is already familiar, choreographer Christopher Hampson and designer Tracy Grant Lord have blown audiences away with their sumptuous take on this classic tale."

Featuring stunning sets,
costumes and dancing, the RNZB's Cinderella has already been
hailed a 'masterpiece' that should not be
missed.

New Zealand Listener dance critic Francesca Horsley says: "A masterpiece...it combines the quintessential elements of expressive story-telling, lovely choreography and stunning sets."
The Lion Foundation Season of Cinderella opens in Dunedin on Saturday night before heading to Christchurch (September 19 - 22), Palmerston North (September 25 - 26), Hastings (September 29 -30), Hamilton (October 4 - 5) and Auckland (October 10 - 14).
