Become the ‘Host With the Most’these School Holidays

One lucky Kiwi kid could be presenting for Nickelodeon NZ at this year’s Nickelodeon Australian Kid’s Choice Awards, at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in October.

Nickelodeon NZ and Mainland Munchables are running a competition calling for kids to join the Nickelodeon film crew these September school holiday’s to record an audition in front of the Nick cameras. The kid with the best audition will win tickets to the Kids Choice Awards, where they get to walk the orange carpet, attend the exclusive after party and present from the awards show for Nickelodeon NZ.

“Nick is 100% kids, so it’s appropriate that our local kiwi presenter at the show is a Kiwi kid,” says Lauren Nola, Marketing Manager Nickelodeon NZ. “We’re looking for a bubbly kid between 8 and 15yrs to walk the walk and talk the talk with the Australian celebs at the slimiest, messiest awards show on the Australian awards calendar.”

The Nickelodeon film crew will be out and about in three cities in the first week of the school holidays to conduct the auditions. All kids need to do is complete and cut out the entry form from Woman’s Day Magazine, (issue on sale from week commencing September 17), and bring it to one of three audition booths around the country. Then they simply show off their personality in front of the Nick cameras by describing an event or funny story that they saw or were involved in.

Nick will be at the below cinema locations during the school holidays to film entries:

AUDITION DAYS – 11am – 3pm:

Go crazy in Christchurch:
~ Monday 24th September @ Reading Cinemas, The Palms.

Get wacky in Wellington
~ Tuesday 25th September @ Reading Cinemas, Courtenay Place

And boogie down in Auckland
~ Wednesday 26th September @ Berkeley Cinemas, Botany Downs.

Kids outside of the three audition cities can enter online at www.nicknz.co.nz or by post to Private Bag 92244 AMSC.

The Nickelodeon Australian Kid’s Choice Awards will screen on Nickelodeon NZ, SKY Channel 41, on Saturday October 27 at 4pm and repeated Sunday 28th at 9am and 2pm, and Monday 29th at 7pm.
