Media Alert, Auckland NZ

MTV And Coca-Cola Are Giving One Lucky Viewer The Chance To Get ‘Made’ As An Mtv Production Assistant At The Mtv Europe Video Music Awards 2007

THE MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS WILL PREMIERE EXCLUSIVELY ON MTV AT 7PM, FRIDAY NOVEMBER 2

Auckland, New Zealand (October 18, 2007) – MTV and Coca-Cola today announced that they are giving one budding kiwi producer the chance of a lifetime to get MADE as an MTV Production Assistant at the MTV Europe Video Music Awards 2007 in Germany.

The MTV Europe Video Music Awards 2007 will be hosted by Snoop Dogg and confirmed performances include Dave Grohl’s Foo Fighters, Avril Lavigne and My Chemical Romance, with more performers to be announced in the coming weeks.

As Production Assistant, one lucky kiwi will be jetting off to Munich to experience first hand what goes on behind the scenes filming at one of MTV’s biggest international events. This includes having exclusive media access to the event, working on the red carpet, capturing back stage antics at the rehearsals and getting up close and personal with some of the biggest stars in the world. They’ll also get to work side by side with the MTV NZ production team and presenters learning all the tools of the trade; including camerawork, editing and script writing. Basically, they’ll be MADE for life!

"I'm FROTHING! I can't wait to hit Munich for the MTV Awards as something super gruffy always goes down, if you want to make it as a producer there is no better place to cut your teeth" Say's MTV presenter Jay Reeve

For the chance to get Made at MTV on the Coke Side of Life, hopefuls simply need to hit www.mtv.co.nz and describe in 50 words or less why they deserve to get MADE as a Production Assistant.
