"A Costura do Invisível: The enchanted world of Jum Nakao"


No contexto do programa do "New Zealand International Arts Festival" (Festival Internacional de Artes da Nova Zelândia), o TheNewDowse abre amanhã a exposição multimídia "A Costura do Invisível: The enchanted world of Jum Nakao" (A Costura do Invisível: O mundo encantado de Jum Nakao), baseada no trabalho do renomado estilista brasileiro de origem nipônica Jum Nakao, que está em Wellington para o lançamento oficial do evento. O projeto faz parte das celebrações do primeiro aniversário – ou bodas de papel - do museu, bem como do centenário da imigração japonesa no Brasil.

On the occasion of the New Zealand International Arts Festival, TheNewDowse will launch tomorrow the multi-media exhibition "A Costura do Invisível: The enchanted world of Jum Nakao" (Sewing the invisible: The enchanted world of Jum Nakao), which is based on the work of renowned Brazilian-Japanese designer Jum Nakao, who is in Wellington for the official opening of the event. The project is part of the celebrations of the museum's first - or "paper" - anniversary, as well as the 100th Anniversary of Japanese immigration to Brazil.
