ELTON JOHN IN AUCKLAND NEXT MONTH!
ELTON JOHN IS BACK LIVE ON STAGE IN NEW ZEALAND IN 2008 EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE COUNTRY’S BIGGEST CITY ONLY!

Capital C: Concerts the Promoter Company behind ROCK2WGTN and BON JOVI Concerts this year is bringing back the Rocketman, Sir Elton John for his third New Zealand Concert in 18 months. Having played Wellington at the end of 2006 and New Plymouth last December, Elton had promised he would not leave the people of Auckland out and that he would be back as soon as he had the opportunity.

With a lighting tour visit to Australia, Elton agreed to play Auckland’s New Vector Arena, something he wanted to do since it opened. The Concert will be on Wednesday May 14 and will feature his full band; Davey Johnstone, Nigel Olsson, Guy Babylon, Bob Birch and John Mahon.

Says promoter Phil Sprey, ‘Elton never fails to excite and entertain an audience and is always on stage longer than any performer touring today.” “He will continue to play the favourites everyone expects and then sprinkle in a selection of his new hits…… he may have been absent from Auckland for 10 years but the wait will be well worth it.”

Tickets are expected to sell fast and will go on sale next Tuesday via Ticketmaster. 0800 -111-999
