The Nomad announces NZ national tour

New Zealand electronic musician The Nomad today announced a tour of New Zealand to promote his new album Selected Works, a collection of his favourite originals, new tracks and remixes.

The nine-show tour kicks off July 4 with a performance in The Nomad's hometown of Wellington, before taking in some of Aotearoa's most spots and concluding with two gigs in Auckland.

Selected Works, through AlleyKat Records and distributed by Rhythmethod, was released June 16.

Featured on Selected Works are collaborations with some of the finest MCs and musicians from both here and abroad, including Rockers Hi-Fi's Farda P, Luciano, The Mad Professor, King Kapisi, Lisa Tomlins, Antsman, Barnaby Weir and Oakley Grenell.

The Nomad has been a leading light of New Zealand electronica since releasing his first original album Movement in 1998. He has since produced another four studio albums and an EP, with his sixth studio album in the pipeline.
