Entries For Westfield Style Pasifika Fashion Award 2008 Close This Friday

A reminder to all up and coming fashion designers that expressions of interest to enter 2008 Westfield Style Pasifika, New Zealand's premier fashion award, close this Friday July 11th 2008

The award specifically showcases fashion that is inspired by the influence of the Pacific and will be onstage at the Vector Arena in Auckland on Friday September 5 in a fashion and entertainment spectacular which is broadcast as a TVNZ television special. Last year there were a record number of entries and over 100 finalists garments onstage.

There is a two stage entry process to the Award. The next stage is the entry of the actual finished garments and they are due by Saturday August 2.

All details plus entry form on www.stylepasifika.co.nz. Entry forms also available at all Westfield Shopping Centres in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch and fashion design schools throughout the country.

The ten categories in the Westfield Style Pasifika Fashion Award are Pasifika Body Art; Traditionally Inspired; Resene Asia Pasifika; NZ Aids Foundation Pasifika Hero; Schwarzkopf Osis Three Piece Collection; FLAVA Urban Street Wear; Menswear; Evening Wear; Bridal Wear and Te Puni Kokiri Parent and Child.

The Awards judges will include key New Zealand fashion designers.
