The Phil Collins 1981 hit In the air tonight, which features on the Cadbury Dairy Milk ‘Gorilla’ ad, has hit the #1 spot on New Zealand’s Official Top 40 Chart this week!

Chart figures for the ad’s theme-song In the air tonight indicate that since the ad started appearing on New Zealand television screens in late June, Kiwis have been going ape over the ad and its drumming gorilla.
