Fashionably Friday At The Naval & Family

Friday nights are warming up as spring arrives on K’ Rd. The Naval & Family is fast developing a fashionable assortment of regular Friday after work drinkers. And as the sun goes down and the lights come up, Friday nights just get hotter.

Couturier, make-up artist and DJ James Leuii has been styling with sound for over 15 years. In that time, he has played at nearly every gay venue all over New Zealand and Sydney – and now he’s the Friday night resident at The Naval & Family.

James likes to cover the spectrum in his sets and has a loyal following of listeners and dancers who enjoy his sophisticated sensibility and love of well structured, tastefully arranged songs.

His musical direction is typically house – encompassing everything from R&B to electro, classic to abstract, old and new, easy and edgy – although he admits to being easily led by a strong vocal.

So pull up to the bar this Friday evening at The Naval & Family and press the most fabulous flesh in town to the fine sound of James Leuii.
