Minerals Rock at Verge
For immediate release

The sultry glamorous faces of the models at Verge today were all courtesy of Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup. Nikki Lovrich, Head Makeup artist for the Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup team designed a look which was high glamour, with deep smoky eyes and subtle barely there lips, changed out to a gorgeous hot melon shade, for Emma’s debut.

Nikki said “It was wonderful to use a makeup that’s professional but which is also so good for the skin as the models are plastered with makeup all day long and it can really clog their skin up, being under intense lights all day. The minerals in Jane Iredale help the skin to breathe and function normally, but provide a superb coverage.”

Eyes:
Eyes were smoky in deep shades of charcoal from the Jane Iredale Smoke Gets In Your Eyes Winter 09 palette. This fabulous palette of five colors is exactly what’s being worn on the Fall runways overseas. From the palest pink highlighter to subtle shades of wine and a black with gold flecks that will knock your socks off.
Gold and Rose Gold 24-karat Gold Dust was used extensively to create shimmering gold and copper highlights across the lid for extra drama.

Jane Iredale Liquid eyeliner (no dyes, fillers or preservatives) was applied to create extra depth & extend the eye for a modern take on the 1950s.

Face:

A combination of PurePressed mineral bases and loose minerals (Amazing Base) was used to create sheer, natural and healthy skin.

PurePressed bases (available in 15 global shades for every skin colour) actually help to improve the skin with ingredients like titanium dioxide and zinc oxide that act as anti-inflammatories, as well as natural SPF20, pine bark extract - a potent topical anti-oxidant, and jojoba ester which improves skin texture and reduces moisture loss.

jane iredale’s loose minerals Amazing Base is made from micronized minerals, which have an SPF 20. The loose mineral powder is a concealer, foundation, powder and sunscreen all in one (which is important even in the winter months).

Cheeks:

In touch cream blushers Connection (peach pink) and Confidence (deep red) were applied for subtly sculpted cheek bones with a hint of rosy blush.

Lips:

PureGloss in shades of Wild Apple and Melon created the perfect balance for the smoldering eye makeup.
