Auckland And Rotorua
Win Lotto Pay Day For May
Lotto players in Auckland and Rotorua will be enjoying a special pay day as they head into May thanks to winning a $366,603 First Division share of Lotto tonight, says NZ Lotteries’ Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
The three winning tickets were sold at Papatoetoe Plaza Lotto in Manukau, Mangere Bridge United Video & Lotto in Mangere, and Westend New World in Rotorua.
“As we head into winter, this is a great way to keep the blues at bay – so if you’re from these areas, or have been through them, I suggest you check your tickets now,” says Mr McLeay.
Lotto Powerball has jackpotted again this week, and will be worth an estimated $10.5 million in next Saturday’s draw.
Another Aucklander has struck gold with a $628,679 win with Lotto’s Strike First Division. The winning ticket was bought at Sweet Lotto Store in Milford, North Shore City.
Tonight’s other big winner was Ian Long who spun and won $250,000 on Lotto’s Winning Wheel.
All Lotto players are automatically in the draw to win the opportunity to spin Lotto’s Winning Wheel, regardless of the type of ticket they buy. Players can check their ticket at any lottery outlet.
Tonight’s Winning Wheel ticket was sold at ASH's superette in Waitakere. The serial number is 334-61245697-20XX.
“Anyone who bought a ticket at this retailer should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it as soon as possible at any NZ Lotteries’ outlet," Mr McLeay says.
