Dorothy the Dinosaur returns to New Zealand

b>Dorothy the Dinosaur returns to New Zealand with her
new show!

Dorothy and her friends touring in September and October

After nearly four years, Dorothy the Dinosaur, star of her own smash hit TV series, brings her new theatre stage show to New Zealand!

Dorothy and her friends are coming to venues in Kerikeri, Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Taupo, Napier, Palmerston North, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.

Children worldwide have been engaged, enchanted and entertained by Dorothy the Dinosaur and her friends Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus, Captain Feathersword, Fairy Clare and Fairy Larissa, as they embark on fun adventures and sing songs.

The show is written by the Blue Wiggle, Anthony Field, who also produced the music. Anthony says: “My three children adore Dorothy the Dinosaur, so I wanted to put together a concert that reflected the high quality of the TV show that they love.”

“The simple storyline of this theatre show is propelled by some fun and beautiful music and dancing,” he added.

Anthony has recorded the Rosy Orchestra, performing songs for Dorothy and her friends, like the delightful Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and Dr Knickerbocker. Children will love bouncing up and down to Come On Let’s Jump!, and Captain Feathersword will be joined by Don the Postman, who sings his signature song.

They’ll shake their hips with Wags the Dog and dance a fairy jig with The Fairy Dance.
Also included are the hits Romp Bomp A Stomp, To Have A Tea Party and the show-stopping finale number, Let’s Have A Party!

Dorothy the Dinosaur is a graduate of R.A.D.D - The Royal Academy of Dinosaur Dancing. She says: “The dancing is delightful and the music is really rosalicious! I know children across New Zealand will have so much fun when they come to my brand new show!”

Dorothy the Dinosaur encourages everyone to take public transport where possible to her shows. Get your tickets fast!
