MEDIA RELEASE

Fresh ‘N Fruity To Make A Big Splash With The Great Telethon Dunk

NEW ZEALAND, 4 AUGUST, 2009: New Zealand’s number one selling yoghurt, Fresh ‘n Fruity - in collaboration with SKYCITY and SKYJUMP - is getting behind this year’s Big Night In Telethon to raise much needed funds for KidsCan StandTall Charity with a celebrity fundraiser SkyJump - a 192m base jump by wire off Auckland’s Sky Tower.

The chosen celebrity will take their leap of faith dressed as a giant fruit into a massive sized pot of Fresh ‘n Fruity yoghurt with the brand’s never seen before exciting new packaging.

New Zealanders get to vote for the celebrity they would like to see dressed as a giant fruit, dive into the six metre high yoghurt pot on Saturday, 8th August at 9.00am and be covered in delicious Fresh ‘n Fruity yoghurt. Candidates include radio and television personalities Jay-Jay Feeney and Oliver Driver and blockbuster stuntwoman ZoÑ‘ Bell.

To vote for their celebrity, Kiwis need to text 3999 between Monday 3rd August and Friday, 7th August. For Jay-Jay Feeney text A; for Oliver Driver text B; for Zoё Bell text C.

Each text costs 99c and all proceeds go to KidsCan, dedicated to meeting the basic needs of financially disadvantaged children. Every text goes in the draw to win a double pass for a SkyJump and SkyWalk valued at $520.00. SKYCITY and SkyJump will donate $1,500 to KidsCan to kick off the event!

It has been 15 years since New Zealand’s iconic last Telethon appeared on local TV screens. The 23 hour non-stop live FUN-draiser event takes place on TV3 over the weekend of 8th and 9th of August 2009. The goal is to raise enough funds for the 30,000 kids on the KidsCan waiting list.

Stay tuned for when fruit and yoghurt collide on TV3’s The Big Night In Telethon this year!
