The Auckland Wind Orchestra is very proud to be presenting six local Auckland composers in their "North Winds, South Winds" concert, on October 18th at the Aotea Chapel, Queen Street, Auckland.

The concert, dubbed as “selections from New Zealand's finest wind music”, features Auckland composers prominently, including two world premieres of “The Pensieve” by Zyia-Li Teh and “Rotorua” by Phillip Anderson.

The concert is conducted by North Shore composer, Ryan Youens, who also has a work in the concert.

The Auckland composers and their works are:
David Woodcock - “Forest Sketches”
Yvette Audain - “Earthbound Wings”
Matthew Crawford - “Far Star”
Ryan Youens - “Guardians of the North”
Zyia-Li Teh - “The Pensieve” (world premiere)
Phillip Anderson - “Rotorua” (world premiere)
