NZ Book Month Event Postponed Until Next Week |

A writing workshop due to take place tomorrow as part of New Zealand Book Month has been postponed until next week.
Building Fantastic Worlds
and Making Sci-Fi Rock with award-winning author Helen Lowe
was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday 10
October but will now be held on Saturday 17 October. The
time and place will remain the same as previously
advertised, at Central Library from 10am - 12pm.
With
her book Thornspell winning the Sir Julius Vogel Award 2009
for Best Novel: Young Adult, Helen Lowe will be focusing the
workshop on writing fantasy fiction and Sci-Fi. The session
will include discussions and exercises, therefore attendees
will need to bring a pen and paper.

Fantastic Worlds and Making Sci-Fi Rock is free to attend
