The best local radio show in Wellington! – Community Zone celebrates our awesome grassroots communities with brilliant local news, notices, reviews and special guests. Recent interviewees include Brett McKenzie from Flight of the Conchords, Drag Queen Carmen Rupe and award winning musician Lawrence Arabia. From the Vaults (English) : Mon 1-2pm *NEW DAY, NEW TIME!

From the Vaults is an hilarious look back into the history of Wellington Access Radio programming.  Today it’s all about the kids!  We have an episode of NOISE WORKS! from 1994, an interview with a young girl who visited India and two children’s stories.  NOISE WORKS! is a regular holiday programme where the kids get to take control of the airwaves.  This episode from 1994 has the theme of conservation and consists of interviews with the Wellington Zoo, the Body Shop and Environmentalist Steve Dixon.  Has anything changed in the past 15 years?  Listen in to find out!

EarthSounZ On Access offers interviews and music from diverse cultures: mainstream, traditional and experimental. Presented by Eric Hathaway, the show will draw upon the voices and talents of musicians from New Zealand’s ethnic communities whether they be European, African, Pacific, Asian or from the Americas. Eric is keen to hear from local musicians who want to bring their music to a wider audience in both performance and interviews.  This week Eric features WOMAD 2010 and there's an interview with British folk band The Unthanks.
