Empire Of The Sun Clean Up At Aria Awards!

MEDIA RELEASE:
Friday 27 November

Rhythm & Vines Headline Act Empire Of The Sun Clean Up At Aria Awards!

RHYTHM & VINES headlining act EMPIRE OF THE SUN were the big winners at last night’s ARIA Awards in Sydney, steam-rolling the competition by taking seven prestigious awards.

Similar to Ladyhawke’s domination at this year’s Vodafone NZ Music Awards, EMPIRE OF THE SUN’s Luke Steel and Nick Littlemore took out the categories for Album Of The Year, Best Pop Release for ‘Walking On A Dream’, Single Of The Year for ‘Walking On A Dream’, Best Group, Best Cover Art, Best Video for ‘Walking On A Dream’ and Producer Of The Year.

EMPIRE OF THE SUN have scored a Top 20 UK album and two UK hit singles of late, while also making major inroads into the US market. Their spectacular live show, full of fantastical trippy lighting, dancers and costumes has been receiving rave reviews and leaving audiences everywhere gob smacked.

All this, plus last night’s recognition from the music industry undoubtedly puts EMPIRE OF THE SUN at the top of everyone’s must-see list at this year’s RHYTHM & VINES.
