BIG DAY OUT publishes its 2010 Auckland timetable today so eager fans can spend the next three weeks plotting their day at Mt Smart Stadium Friday 15 January.

There is no surprise to see the mainstage line-up headlined by Muse, with Groove Armada headlining the Boiler Room stage.

The evening mainstage line-up from Dizzee Rascal, Lily Allen, and Mars Volta into Muse packs hits, diversity and some of the world’s most creative acts into a run that is sure to thrill the big crowd.

English rockers Muse are bringing their stadium production to the BIG DAY OUT, promising the largest visual spectacle in the event’s 18 year history.

“Muse promise to deliver everything at the BIG DAY OUT that has seen them consistently hailed as the world’s best live rock show,” said promoter Campbell Smith.

Elsewhere, the BIG DAY OUT goes with tradition to see Groove Armada closing out the event in the Boiler Room where they are sure to lead an enormous crowd of revelers through classic and new material.

And the other last act on the show is US metal veterans Fear Factory on the Green Stage.

The show is opened by exuberant Auckland teens Bandicoot at 10.30am.

“In programming thirteen hours of music and over 70 artists and DJs across eight stages, there’s plenty of complementary acts to see and I guess there is always the chance for an eager fan to catch something of everyone if they were that mad,” said Smith.
