NZ Three Tenors set to thrill

Get ready for shivers and goose bumps as New Zealand’s finest three tenors perform together for the first time in a country-wide tour in March.

Tenors Benjamin Fifita Makisi, Bonaventure Allan-Moetaua, and Derek Hill will be joining soprano Susan Boland in Operatunity’s highly anticipated show; Three Tenors and a Soprano.

Boland says the show is a luscious performance of music, sung by the three finest young tenors in New Zealand at the moment.

“I am really looking forward to singing alongside such great performers with music that will enthrall audiences who so enjoy the arts,” says Boland.

Benjamin Makisi’s return to the Operatunity shows are exciting audiences everywhere.

The ‘Pacific Pavarotti’, who is perhaps best known for his moving performance at Sir Edmund Hillary’s funeral, is currently pursuing an international opera career.

Three Tenors and a Soprano features opera and song made famous by the Three Tenors, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti.

The concert coincides with the release of award-winning Operatunity’s latest CD named after the show, on sale from March 1.

After being crowned Top Group at the 2009 Variety Artist Club awards, Operatunity’s concerts are set to dazzle and delight audiences from Whangarei to Invercargill.

The themed concerts comprised of timeless tunes offer audiences a chance to interact with the artists by sharing lunch with them after the shows.

Tickets are just $27 with lunch included, available online at www.operatunity.co.nz or by calling toll free on 0508 266 237. Seats fill up fast so bookings are essential.
