Awards Presented at the Duxton Art Awards On Friday Night 12 March 2010

At the Duxton Art Awards & Exhibition Opening Night in Wellington on Friday 12 March Her Worship the Mayor of Wellington, Kerry Prendergast, presented the following awards as judged by the Judges for the competition section, Ron Espkamp and Ted Downing

1st Prize – Anna-Marie Kingsley of Carterton – Tapestry Series 3 - $3,000.00 and the Harbux Carved Eagle Trophy by Ron Wilson

2nd Prize – Richard Bigwood of Wellington – Koro II - $1,000.00 and the Harbux 2nd Prize Trophy

3rd Prize – Raymond Jennings of Auckland – Houses on Mt Eden - and the Harbux 3rd Prize Trophy

Special Harbux Awards were also presented to :

Morag Stokes of Wellington – Morning Sunshine Waitangi Day

Phillipa Durkin of Wellington – Scientific & Scientific Exploration

Seree Bayne of Wellington – Portrait of Ryan

Clarry Neame of Blenheim – Flora with Accessories

Jocelyn Cook of Wanaka – Lochar Downs Shearing

Brian Nelson of Wellington – Cuba St Dawn.
