Gordon Ramsay To Visit New Zealand

Gordon Ramsay To Visit New Zealand

From the people that brought you Tua vs. Cameron and Tua vs. Ahunanya – another fighter, this time from the kitchen. Gordon Ramsay, celebrity chef, restaurateur and broadcaster arrives in New Zealand for a series of gala dinners in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch on 22 – 23 – 24 June.

Duco Events directors David Higgins and John McRae are excited to have finally signed Ramsay after a two-year wait. “We’re expecting a thrilling evening with Gordon Ramsay, and certainly an evening not to be missed,” said Higgins. “Not knowing exactly what to expect from the man famous for his temper and scathing outbursts in the kitchen is half of the anticipation!”

Ramsay will whip up stories as part of a keynote speech, followed by a Q & A session. Renowned for his pursuit of excellence and speaking his mind, the evening promises to be thoroughly entertaining and thought-provoking.

He is without doubt one of the best chefs in the world and has a restaurant empire spanning UK, USA, Europe, Dubai, Tokyo, South Africa, Versailles, Tuscany and Sardinia as well as the UK’s oldest independent cookery school, Tante Marie. In March of this year, Gordon Ramsay’s first Australian restaurants maze and maze Grill, opened in the heart of Australia’s food capital, Melbourne

Gordon Ramsay has been awarded a total of 16 Michelin Stars and in 2007 became one of only three chefs in the United Kingdom to hold three Michelin stars at one time. He currently ranks third in the world in terms of Michelin Stars behind Joel Robuchon and Alain Ducasse.

Guests will also enjoy a cocktail reception, three course dinner, and live entertainment.
