Homegrown 2010

MIC Toi Rerehiko, in association with the New Zealand Film Festival Trust, is proud to present Homegrown 2010 as part of this year’s NZ International Film Festival. Now in its fifteenth year, Homegrown is Aotearoa's premier showcase of local short films.

There are three programmes this year – Works on Film, Dramatic Digital Shorts and Quirky Stories.

Works On Film features six short films that have received support from The New Zealand Film Commission. From hard hitting and topical to light and whimsical, this year’s selection will exercise your emotions.

This year’s crop of Dramatic Digital Shorts ably demonstrates the talents of up and coming New Zealand film-makers. From the opening of A Glorious Morning through to the night-time shenanigans of Tee Party, there is something for everyone in this cinematic feast.

Quirky Stories is a spicy mix of funny and imaginative stories that span animation, documentary and experimental genres.
