DEERHUNTER - Halcyon Digest website & Tour Dates

News of the upcoming Deerhunter release continues to filter out from the Halcyon Digest website - where the band have taken to feeding exclusive information about the record ahead of its release on September 28.
As well as showcasing the band's poster competition gallery, the band also announced a glut of North American dates from August 10 throughout the Autumn, all available to view here.
BROKEN RECORDS - New album announced, free mp3

Let Me Come Home - the follow-up to Broken Records' lauded debut Until The Earth Begins To Part - has been revealed. After sessions in an old distillery grain store in the Highlands, the Scottish band eventually recorded the record with Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Belle & Sebastian) at his Glasgow-based studio.

BLONDE REDHEAD - Download 'Not Getting There'

Having announced their return with the release of Penny Sparkle, their sublime new album released on September 13th, Blonde Redhead offered up another glimpse of the forthcoming record in the form of 'Not Getting There', available to download for free from here.

STORNOWAY - New Video for 'Watching Birds'

Following the US release of Beachcomber's Windowsill, Stornoway have posted their latest video online, a promo for the track Watching Birds. Head to 4AD.com to view the video, directed by James Caddick (Warp Films), and featuring the band showcasing their chess-boxing abilities.

EFTERKLANG - New Single 'Raincoats',

For lovers of Mogwai and perhaps Boards Of Canada – you should check out this band Efterklang. As many of you know –they get my vote for Best Album Cover 2010 – stylish Danes!!
