International MasterChef Judge wants a Taste of Auckland

Taste of Auckland festival announces final line-up of restaurants and international guest chef

Matt Moran, the award winning restaurateur and Australian MasterChef judge will add a new flavour to the stellar line-up of chefs and restaurants tempting taste buds at this year's Taste of Auckland festival, 18 - 21 November 2010.

Moran is executive chef and co-owner of Sydney's highly awarded ARIA Restaurant and a member of Singapore Airlines’ International Culinary Panel. He is the author of two cookbooks and after appearing for two years as a guest judge, has now taken a much larger role on the popular MasterChef Australia.

As a guest presenter in the Taste of Auckland, Fisher & Paykel Chef’s Kitchen, Moran will be sharing his knowledge, experience and a few well kept secrets as he demonstrates the preparation of one of his favourite dishes, as well as answering questions from festival attendees.

A fan of Taste festivals, which span 13 international destinations including Milan, London and Dubai, Moran featured his restaurant ARIA in Taste of Sydney earlier this year.

“I’m really looking forward to being a part of Taste of Auckland, not only as a presenter, where I can share my passion for what I do best, but also as a guest sampling and savouring what Auckland and New Zealand have to offer.”
