After making its way around the globe, Casio is excited to announce the G-Shock SHOCK THE WORLD tour is touching down in New Zealand. On October 21st the worlds of media, technology, fashion and music will descend on Auckland in a celebration of the iconic Casio G-Shock brand.

SHOCK THE WORLD began in 2008 to celebrate G-Shock’s 25th anniversary and has snowballed into a world tour that has sent shock waves through more than 12 cities globally with performances from Kanye West and Ke$ha in New York, Pixie Lott in London and Lady Sovereign in Berlin.

Renowned for hosting the biggest names on the planet, the Auckland event will see US hip hop producer and DJ Just Blaze in attendance playing his first ever NZ set. Having worked with almost every heavyweight in the US hip-hop fraternity, Just Blaze is best known for his work with Jay-Z, Kanye West, The Game and Eminem. He’ll be joined by local band-de-jour Computers Want Me Dead and Casio G-Shock ambassador, David Dallas.

The iconic brand will also be showcasing its latest collaborations with some of New Zealand’s finest talent – Huffer, QUBIC store and Misery who have each created a unique timepiece.
