New TV Show To Turn Kids Lives Around

Eyeworks TV are producing a local version of “The World's Strictest Parents” to give a good dose of discipline to some of New Zealand’s most troublesome teens.

The fly-on-the-wall series pairs head-strong Kiwi teens with strict parents in a foreign country as each week two of them are sent to live with families who believe in regulation and respect.

These parents have tough rules. And even tougher punishments. It’s a brave new world for our out of control kiwi kids as they learn to live by someone else’s rules - no swearing, no smoking, no wild parties and early curfews. Can seven days of tough love tame our wild teens? Or will these no-nonsense parents meet their match?

Researcher Lisa Burd says “this is a show for parents who are at their wits end and teens who are out of control – the trip is an opportunity for the kids to curb their self-destructive behaviour ……and parents to save their sanity”

We are on the hunt round the country for teens aged 14 – 19 years old.

HEY KIDS ….

ARE YOUR PARENTS TOO STRICT?

ARE THEY TIRED OF YOUR ATTITUDE?

DO YOU WANT TO TEST DRIVE SOMEONE ELSES FAMILY ABROAD?
